One of the iPhones most successful and popular applications, Paper Toss, is ready to take on the world in the new and improved follow up to the great game.

In case you have had your head in the sand for the past months, the basic principal of the game is to throw bits of paper into a small trash can, taking into consideration wind and other environmental factors.

Titled ‘Paper Toss World Tour’, the sequel to one of the most downloaded iPhone games maintains the successful gameplay, only this time users will be travelling around the world to some pretty cool locations.

From the snowfields of Japan to the pyramids in Egypt, users will have to battle tougher and harsher conditions in their attempts to throw paper into the famous little trash can.

An improvement on the previous version is the cool special effects tailored for each level. For example in the Egyptian stage, players will have to overcome a sand storm that blows harder or softer depending on the wind speed.

Instead of having an easy, medium and hard level, players will now have to unlock a new level every time they achieve a required score in the game. There are a total of eight levels in the game, some of which are near impossible to sink the paper in the basket.

Despite the first version of Paper Toss being free for download, the follow up will set users back 0.99 cents and is a great addition to any iPhone gaming lover’s application list.
