Not so much a video recording app as a piece of software that allows you to make mini slideshows, 12seconds is about as close as you can get to moving picture and sound on the iPhone until Apple changes its approach to video recording on the iPhone (which, if rumour has it, will be sooner rather than later).
To use 12seconds the premise is simple. Choose three photos, record 12 seconds of audio, and the clip is saved to your 12seconds account. You have your own channel that anyone can follow, or you can post it as an update to your Facebook status, post it to Twitter or upload it to MySpace.
Best of all, 12seconds is currently free for a limited time only.
