Unfortunately, a free service like MobileMe is still too good to be true. It requires a yearly subscription, just like it’s predecessor, .Mac. In Australia, a single-user license will cost you $119 per year, which gives you 20GB of combined email and file storage plus 200GB per month of data transfer.
A family pack will set you back $179, but it includes one individual license (and the same storage transfer amounts), plus up to four other family member accounts, including an additional 5GB of email and file storage and 50GB of monthly data transfer each.
If 20GB isn’t generous enough for you, there are larger plans on offer. Tack on another 20GB for a further $60 a year or $119 for another 40GB.
