How to add Calendar Events

To add an event, simply press the “+” button to add a new appointment, event or reminder. The iPhone asks for a number of different fields to be completed including details about the time, duration and description. Events can be set as an all-day event (useful for remembering birthdays, anniversaries and public holidays).

One limitation of the iPhone Calendar application is that it does not allow users to tap a time in Day view to add a new appointment such as in computer-based calendar applications like Apple’s own iCal. While this shortcoming is arguably insignificant, it may bother users who are used to double tapping new appointments into their calendar.
